Paul Swanson  

Clinic Director and Dentist

Qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2000.

Paul has worked at Rose Lane Dental Practice since January 2005, prior to this he had worked at other practices following his graduation.

He has 5 years experience in implant dentistry.

In 2003, Paul gained a Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons.

In 2004 he gained certification in IV sedation. This enables him to provide sedation for nervous patients.

In 2008 he completed the Diploma in Dental Implantology run by the Royal College of Surgeons of England,  a qualification held by literally 50 dentists in the country.  In 2011 Dr Swanson completed his own piece of original research based in the Queen Mary University of London which resulted in the award of an MSc (Masters degree) in Implantology. 

Paul accepts referrals from other practices in the city for implant dentistry, showing the high regard of which he is held by his fellow dentists as well as his patients.

Paul is also employed by the University of Liverpool to train and mentor newly graduated dentists.

Paul has also obtained the advanced certificate in bone grafting from the royal college of surgeons.
 
Paul is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology.

Suzanne Tappenden

Implant Coordinator
 
Sue qualified as a dental nurse in 1988 and has worked at Rose Lane dental practice for 25 years.

She loves every aspect of dentistry and enjoys the challenges dentistry brings as its evolved over the years during her time at Rose lane.

Her role as dental nurse has changed during this time and she is now the Implant coordinator at Rose lane, she organises referrals from other practices and arranges consultation appointments with Dr swanson.

Having been an Implant Coordinator for over 3 years she helps train other dental nurses in this aspect of work over the years she has gained a lot of knowledge and is able to answer any questions a patient may have before making an appointment or any concerns / fears they may have once the treatment has begun.

She finds Implantology a fascinating and very rewarding treatment option and enjoys seeing the patients journey from consultation appointment to the final restorative appointment.
